| More than 250 athletes from around the Lower Mainland converged on the White Rock/South Surrey Pool for last weekend's Winter Classic. The host club, the Pacific Sea Wolves carried off fine performances, with most clocking in best times against other swimmers to earn top-25 rankings for the country in their age groups. "The young swimmers we have in this club are swimming fantastic," said assistant head coach Jeff Grace. "A lot of kids had huge improvements and a lot of the top-end athletes did so as well."
